Description

Metacam Oral Suspension is used to reduce pain and inflammation in both acute and chronic musculo-skeletal disorders in cats.

Metacam for Cats is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drug, and can also be used to alleviate mild to moderate post-operative pain and inflammation following surgical procedures, e.g. orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.

Metacam is a pleasantly flavoured liquid and can be added to food where most cats will take it quite happily. A special syringe is provided to help measure out the correct dose.

Each ml Contains:
Meloxicam 0.5mg, Sodium Benzoate 1.5mg

My 12-yr-old moggie has arthritis in her lower back and her knees, and so was prescribed metacam by the vet. I drizzle the required dose over her dry cat food and she consumes it with no problem. I'm happy with this medication and happier still that VetUK can supply it more cheaply than our vet practice.

Our cat has been on Metacam for nearly a year now. It has been very effective in relieving his arthritis and giving him a new lease of life. It has also not caused any noticeable side effects. Vetuk offers this product significantly cheaper than my vets and dealing with them has been straightforward and their deliveries have been prompt.
